I love to make my own salad dressings. This is one of my favorites.
Honey Dijon Mustard Salad Dressing
ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice- 1 cup flaxseed oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
- Put everything in a mason jar and shake your bon-bon for two minutes.
Put it all over your salad and enjoy

A couple of months ago I decided I wanted to find my way back to Blogville and start blogging again. It’s been years since I’ve built my own blog template so I decided to look on ETSY and see what I could find. I’ll be honest I come found some duds. But then by the grace of God I found Tasha at mycutelobsterdesigns
I sent Tasha a message and we started talking. I told her I love to blog and write in my journal out on my back porch with my cup of tea. I wanted something that made people feel like they are sitting on my back porch reading my diary.
At first I really thought I wanted this blog for my gluten-free recipes and weight loss but as time went on I realized I wanted this blog to be about so much more. I want a place I can post about everything on my mind. So one day I might talk about food and the next day I might talk about some of the crazy women on the Real Housewives of Whatever Town. I just want a place I can let my soul sing.
So thank you again Tasha for not only creating a great template for my blog but also giving me a place I can let my soul sing!!!!

I’m excited about so many things today. First off I have found somebody to make me a wonderful new blog template. I’m so excited to see how it turns out.
Second, I’m excited about the new direction I’m going with A Delicious Mess website. This used to be a just a recipe blog but I want to make it a daily journal of my life and add a few recipes every now and then. I have to tell you I have really enjoyed the past few months learning how to make three meals in one since I’m vegan, Big Papi’s ( my handsome hubby ) is a full blown meat eater and my mom’s a vegetarian. I tell ya breakfast, lunch and dinner is never boring around our house.
Third, I’m super excited to start sharing some of my DIY projects and some great DIY projects I’ve found online. I’m always amazed by the great DIY projects I find on YouTube. The one plus about how crappy the economy has become it has brought out the Martha Stewart in everybody. I just love it.
Last but not least, I can’t wait to start trying some new products, review them and share my thoughts with everybody. I found some of the best gluten-free crackers the other day and I want to take some pics and share them with y’all.
I hope y’all have a safe New Years Eve and party like a rock star and I’ll see you next year ( next week lol )
